Happy writing :)
Team
We build Blacksheet
The Blacksheet app is built by a small team in Montreal.
We believe it's possible to change the world with design and technology. We're currently striving to build a product and a company that people will love. If you’re interested in joining us, see our careers page.
Felix
Felix is a well-travelled product manager with a keen interest in user experience and interface design. Thanks to his geek background, he also write code that makes Blacksheet look and behave just at it should. Oh, and he crafts uncanny photographs.
Mathieu
Mathieu is a McGill University graduate who has spent some time in Silicon Valley working for Google and networking around Palo Alto. He makes sure everything runs smoothly under the hood and programs badass syncing logic. Mathieu is also passionate about education and still has ties to his alma mater, where he teaches Computer Science.
Nicolette Hegyes
Young visual artist based in Sydney, Nicolette is the brush behind Blacksheet visuals. Blacksheet is primarily a functional tool focussed on productivity, which is not necessrely very attractive. Nicolette infuse the product with charisma and give Blacksheet the persona that everyones love.
Montréal
It's freezing cold here during the winter but we have:
- A lively and rising tech scene
- Two official languages (on parle français!)
- Over 5,000 restaurants (and some fines ones too)
- A taste for good design (so says UNESCO!)
- A kick-ass music scene (do Arcade Fire, Wolf Parade, or Malajube ring a bell?)
Merci!
